Oh dear, my weekend was so busy, filled with fun events and hard work! It started off with 15 people examining my apartment on friday – keep in mind that I only live on 30m²- who were interested in renting it when I move out myself, which will be fairly soon!
On Saturday, I had the pleasure to take part at the lovely Blogger Breakfast at the Heimathafen café in Wiesbaden and met a lot of nice fellow bloggers from the Rhein-Main area, which was nice as being a blogger in the suburbs can be a little bit lonely at times. I was especially happy to finally meet Nina from Mainzer Wohnzimmer in person, who I’ve been following for quite some time now – go check her out! Also, a huge thank you goes out to Giovanno from Stadtblogozin for organizing and Feine Billetterie and Senseo for sponsoring this great event! (more…)
When I think of love a few things come to mind. That annoying record by Haddaway. Hearts, obviously. Flowers, roses to be even more specific. And weirdly enough hands, because for me love is always associated with holding hands. It’s as simple as this, people holding hands make me think of love. (more…)
This weekend was very relaxed, I loved it! Friday we went for dinner with friends to celebrate my thesis, Saturday I had a writing job to do and Sunday I met up with one of my best friends for wine and food! How was your weekend? ♥
I was so happy when the lovely people of BonjourHK contacted me and asked me if I wanted to try some of their products. I’ve heard a lot about Asian skincare, but even though I’ve lived in Asia for 9 months, haven’t tried any yet. So naturally, I said yes!
My nighttime skincare routine just used to be cleansing off my makeup, applying moisturizer to my face and lips and off to bed I go. Now that I’m more into skincare and know about the ingredients and what my skin needs, my skincare routine has expanded a bit. I know, I’m still no pro, I don’t use toners and haven’t tried the glorified Alpha H Liquid Gold yet (which I’m desperate for), but this is what works for me at the moment, so maybe you’ll like some of the products as well!
Recently I went on a wonderful trip to Bali, Indonesia. It was magical and I loved every second of it. Unfortunately, I did not cure my wanderlust at all, but make it even worse… Here are some pictures for you to share the beauty of Bali (all taken on an iPhone 5, so don’t mind the quality) Oh, and with this trip, I checked the first stop off my top 5 travel spots of 2015! Whoop! ♥
There it was again, anxiety. Anxiety about the future. University is nearly finished and then what? Applying for jobs. Jobs I’d love to do, other’s just to pay my bills. What’s the right pass? To fulfill my so-called destiny or to possibly be able to afford designer handbags and fancy vacations. (more…)
For the past two weeks, I’ve been exploring the beautiful island of Bali with the bf. I know this is no excuse for being literally invisible to my blog for weeks, but life happened. I had to write my thesis and I am actually very proud I finished it. Now, I am able to concentrate on things I love doing again, which basically means blogging and traveling. Oh and looking for a job. So, if you got one, hook me up 😉 But let’s not drift off too far, let’s talk about healthy-ish food in Bali!
Our hotel, the Astagina Resort Villa and Spa was located in Legian, which is basically in between Kuta (the party mecca of Bali) and Seminyak (hipster area). As our hotel was still in its soft-opening phase, we were able to afford this 5 star beauty for once! We really loved everything about it, the amazing pool, very friendly staff, clean rooms and delicious breakfast.. I would very much recommend this place to EVERYONE.
